Abridged in Ghent, Belgium, Imschoot, Uitgevers for IC, [Printer: Imschoot-Gent], 1992, 21x14,5 cm, publisher’s hardcover binding, pp. 176, artist book containing 27 black and white photographs taken by various photographers mentioned in the volume. The work is a facsimile of the text “Letters from Ludwig Wittgenstein With a Memoir” by Paul Engelmann and includes a series of letters and memoirs written to his friend Ludwig Wittgenstein. The text pages are printed with light tones of print as the background of the black and white plates, some of which are applied to the page. Polemical work and condemnation against the policies of “urban and architectural renewal”, responsible for having erased the historical memory of many cities. The photographs document the progressive destruction of the city of Ghent originating from speculative real estate strategies. Edition of 1000 copies. Copy with a beautiful autograph dedication by the artist on the title page.
