"To Be Continued is a musical score for guitar, woodwinds, double bass, and percussion.
The duration of each page averages 30 seconds.
Unless there is a rest at the end of the page, turn to the next one without interruption.
Do not play where there is no representation of your instrument, or suggestion of its sound.
Where no instrument is specified, decide in advance who will realize the page.
You can imitate an instrument if it is closely related to your own.
The speech bubbles are evocative of mood and dynamic, and should not be vocalized.
This score is designed for the musicians who perform it and is not to be shared with the audience during the concert. Do not use projection.
This publication can also be enjoyed by anybody independent of the performance.
To Be Continued was originally conceived for the Ensemble Babel, but can be realized by others; the instrumentation can be modified slightly. The original lineup was:
Antonio Albanese: guitar
Laurent Estoppey: saxophone
Anne Gillot: recorders, bass clarinet
Luc Müller: drums Noelle Reymond: double bass"
